Al-Madinah International University Organises Research Boot Camp 2.0 to Enhance Scientific Publishing and Action Research Skills

The Research Centre of Al-Madinah International University organised Research Boot Camp 2.0 under the theme “Bridging Practice and Publication: A Practical Workshop on Action Research for Indexed Journals”, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to develop the research capabilities of academic staff and researchers while enhancing the quality of scholarly output.

The workshop aimed to equip participants with the practical knowledge and skills required to conduct action research and prepare manuscripts in accordance with the standards required for publication in indexed academic journals. Particular emphasis was placed on practical approaches that enable professional practices and field experiences to be transformed into publishable scholarly research.

The programme witnessed active participation from academic staff and researchers, providing them with opportunities to engage in discussions and explore best practices related to research preparation and publication. These efforts contribute to improving the university’s research output and strengthening its academic presence at both national and international levels.

The event was honoured by the presence of Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, who attended the training session and reaffirmed the university’s commitment to fostering a strong research culture and supporting academic initiatives that promote excellence in research and scholarly publishing.

Al-Madinah International University continues to support research and innovation through various strategic initiatives. Among these initiatives is the provision of an internal research grant of RM600 for university researchers to support their research projects. In addition, the university approved seven (7) Internal Research Grants during the current year, reflecting its commitment to encouraging scientific research and motivating researchers to produce high-quality studies that contribute to society and the advancement of knowledge.

At the conclusion of the programme, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Nur Faizah Binti Abdul Rahman, an officer of the Research Centre, in recognition of her outstanding contributions and dedicated efforts in supporting the centre’s activities and enhancing the university’s ranking and academic reputation. He also wished her continued success in her professional career.

This boot camp forms part of a series of training and development programmes organised by Al-Madinah International University to support researchers and academics and to further strengthen the university’s position as a leading institution in research, innovation, and academic excellence.
