Al-Madinah International University organised Hiking Day 2026 with the participation of a number of university students at Kanching Waterfalls, located in Rawang, Selangor, as part of its student development programmes and activities aimed at strengthening student engagement and encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
The event was designed to provide students with an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and participate in outdoor physical activities within a safe and enjoyable environment. It also aimed to foster friendship, teamwork, and social interaction among students beyond the classroom setting, contributing to a more balanced and enriching university experience.
The trip was marked by enthusiasm and positive interaction among participants, who enjoyed the hiking trails and scenic landscapes that make Kanching Waterfalls a popular recreational destination. Students also exchanged ideas and experiences, helping to strengthen relationships and enhance their sense of belonging to the university community.
The organisers emphasised that such activities form part of the university’s commitment to supporting the physical, social, and personal development of students alongside their academic growth. These initiatives reflect the university’s belief in nurturing well-rounded individuals who combine academic excellence with physical well-being and positive community engagement.
Al-Madinah International University remains committed to organising a wide range of sports, recreational, and cultural programmes throughout the year in line with its vision of providing a dynamic university environment that supports student development and enhances the overall quality of campus life.
