As part of strengthening cooperation with the Malaysian community, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich, CEO of Al-Madinah International University, participated in the launch event of the Global Council for Scientific Miracles in the Quran and Sunnah, which was held in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, under the patronage of His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, and in the presence of the Malaysian Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dato’ Dzulkifli. The university delegation also included Dr. Omar bin Mohammed Din and Dr. Sami Samir Abdelfattah Abdelkawi.
The event also witnessed the closing ceremony of the “Science and Faith” program and competition under the Iman and Science program organized by the Muslim World League in collaboration with Malaysian governmental and private institutions. Male and female students from Al-Madinah International University, together with a large number of their peers from various Malaysian universities, participated in this international competition, which aims to strengthen the integration between modern sciences and faith-based values and to develop scientific research skills. The closing ceremony included the crowning of the winners and the distribution of prizes, which included several free Umrah trips.
On the sidelines of the event, Asst. Prof. TS. Dr. Ammar Bathich met with His Excellency Dr. Al-Issa and also held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Malaysia to discuss ways of enhancing academic and scientific cooperation. In addition, he met with the Head of the Muslim World League Office in Malaysia, Dr. Mohammed Al-Gharawi, to discuss the development of future partnerships and support for joint scientific programs.
This participation reaffirms Al-Madinah International University’s commitment to strengthening its international and local presence and to actively engaging in scientific initiatives that contribute to the service of knowledge and the reinforcement of Islamic values.
