The Chief Executive Officer of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), Asst. Prof. Ts. Dr. Ammar Bathich, attended the Raya Open House organized by the Muslim World League – Malaysia, held on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, with the participation of distinguished academic leaders and prominent officials in the country.
The event was graced by YB Senator Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Islamic Affairs Malaysia, along with a number of presidents of Malaysian universities and representatives of academic institutions. The gathering served as an important platform to strengthen cooperation and communication among stakeholders in the academic and Islamic sectors.
During the event, the CEO met with Dr. Mohamed Ghouri, Director of the Muslim World League Malaysia office, where discussions were held on enhancing mutual cooperation and exploring potential partnerships in areas of shared interest, particularly in education and research.
He also met with YB Senator Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, during which he emphasized MEDIU’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs Malaysia. He further indicated the university’s intention to conduct an official visit to the ministry in the near future as part of efforts to expand cooperation and establish strategic partnerships.
The event featured several activities, including a video presentation highlighting the initiatives of the Muslim World League in Malaysia, as well as networking sessions that facilitated professional engagement and exchange of expertise among attendees.
