Halal Haram Issue: Cleansing the heart (Mingguan Malaysia 17/1/2021) CEO of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan Mohd. Othman stated that the best morals are to emulate the morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in maintaining the trust based on the teachings of Islam itself. This is following to the recent issue of abuse of halal labels on food products, where related issues will not occur if the party given the task of maintaining the given trust.

MEDIU recently held a Recognition Day for MEDIU Academic Staff as an expression of gratitude for the dedication of all faculty lecturers for the year 2020 on Thursday, 31 December 2020. The award covers all academic faculties namely Faculty of Islamic Sciences (FIS), Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences Administration (FFAS), Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (FCIT), Faculty of Education (FEDU), Faculty of Languages ​​(FLAN), Faculty of Engineering (FENG) and Centre of Preparatory Studies and Languages (CPSL).

l-Madinah International University (MEDIU) visited Yayasan Bushra (http://yayasanbushra.com/) on Thursday, 17 December 2020. MEDIU's delegation was led by the MEDIU’s CEO, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman; Mr. Fuad Ahmad bin Umar Al’As; Special Officer to CEO and Legal Advisor; Tuan Syed Hashim Bin Ahmad Al-Qudsi and was welcomed by Yayasan Bushra Executive Chairman, Tuan Adi Negara Kamarudin.

MEDIU recently held a Staff Recognition Day during the Town Hall Session on Wednesday, 23 December 2020 as an expression of the university’s gratitude for the dedication of the staff for the year 2020.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) has step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with local organization. Recently, MEDIU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Arabic Researcher ID Scientific Platform (ARID) on Thursday, 15 October 2020. ARID is a platform provides distinguished set of free services for Arabic speaking researchers to support the scientific research movement in accordance with the highest internationally applicable standards.

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently held a short course ‘Mustalah Al-Hadith’ on Saturday, 10 October 2020. This is the second course conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fadlan Mohd Othman; MEDIU’s CEO through the virtual application ‘Zoom’ and the implementation of the course is made easy and suitable for the general public to understand.
