Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) conducted an open registration session with the students of Rawang Integrated Boarding School (SBPI Rawang) in Selangor on Wednesday, 16 April 2014. The registration session was initiated by the Principal, Haji Addenan bin Osman, with the constant support and cooperation with the school counsellor. The invitation for the students to attend the registration was published in the school website.
MEDIU representatives were led by Dean, Admission and Registration; Asst. Prof. Dr Ayman Aied, Head of Marketing; Mr.Mohd Sahrin Hj Ab. Rahman along with Miss Izwah binti Kamaruddin and Mr.Said Mohammad from Marketing and Academic Department respectively.
A total of seven(7) students were keen to enrol in Foundation in Arabic Languages and Islamic Studies Students for April 2014 intake. The students submitted their application during the registration and sit for MEDIU Arabic Placement Test (MAPT)before being interviewed Asst. Prof. Dr Ayman Aied to evaluate on their Arabic Languages proficiency. The school counsellor has advised students whom were interested but couldn’t make it for the open registration, to apply for the program online or they may visit the University’s for registration purpose.
Rawang Integrated Boarding School (SBPI Rawang) is one of the 100 high performance schools in Malaysia which offer Arabic Languages as a compulsory subject and the selection of students from Ministry of Education who obtain excellent results in the secondary school by Ministry of Education. SBPI Rawang School Principal states that the partnership with the school is not only to offer academic programs to our students but more to collaboration in developing a new generation with an appreciation towards the Islamic knowledge.
