Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received an honored guest from King Faisal University (KFU), Republic of Chad, Africa on Tuesday, 17 May 2017. The visit was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Issa Hassan and was welcomed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office with the aim to look more closely in MEDIU’s implementation as distance learning education and its achievements and discussing ways of cooperation in the technical fields, training and scientific research. King Faisal University was established in N’djamena, capital of Chad, in 1991 for higher Islamic and modern studies. The university was named after King Faisal bin Abdul Aziz in recognition of his services to the Chad society.
During the visit, the orientation of the University’s education system is in the adoption of the latest technology as well as a pioneer in e-learning method in pursuit of global modern educational system were briefed to the delegates. A visual presentation on MEDIU, its techniques and educational administrative process as well as on the technology infrastructure, overview on Campus Management System (CMS) and presentation on Advanced Learning i-Management (ALIM) were presented to the guest in the presence of MEDIU’s Dean Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wael Mohamed Shaher Yafooz.
