MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 3rd Executive Management Council on Tuesday, 7 February 2017. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.
The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:
- To approve on the participation of Marketing Department in KPT Education Carnival in Eastern Zone (Terengganu/Kelantan/Pahang), Sabah and Northern Zone (Pulau Pinang/Perak)
- To approve on the proposal of excellent students awards ‘CEO List Award’ and ‘Dean’s List Award’ with the announcement on university’s website and certificate.
- To approve on promoting Open Entry for Bachelor programs (On-Line) for local students by offering 50% discount for the first 50 applicants.
- To approve on conducting various training programs (teaching/system/soft skills/research/assessment/supervision) for academic staff in the year 2017.
- To assign a Deputy of Research and Postgraduate Affairs in each faculty as follows:

- To appoint Prof. Dr. Kaharudin Dimyati as Chairman of Advisory Panel to Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- To appoint Prof. Dr. Mahamod Ismail as a member of advisory Panel to Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- To assign new candidate in Student Counselling & Activities Department, Student Affairs Division as follow:

- To transfer Muhammad Uwais As-Sadiq from Student Affairs Deanship into Marketing Department and Asrul Afiq Bin Abu Husin from Registration & Admission Deanship to Student Affairs Deanship.
