48/2015 Executive Management Council(EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 48^th Executive Management Council (EMC) meeting on Monday, 28 September 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• To approve on the subjects distribution of on-campus and online lecturers for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Sept 2015).
• To approve on the exemption of tuition fees for MEDIU’s staff who study postgraduate courses [BI814] and [AX268] by teaching two subjects.
• To revoke tuition gees for student [AW783] by teaching two subjects.
• To compensate the lecturers for teaching overload subjects.
• To approve on the subjects distribution of on-campus and online lecturers for the Faculty of Education (Sept 2015).
• To approve on the subjects distribution of on-campus and online lecturers for the Faculty of Languages (Sept 2015).
• To assign graduated postgraduate students to work as part time lecturers for Faculty of Islamic Sciences in return for exemption from payment of tuition fees.
