Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guests Miss Ayu Abdullah, Director of Community Engagement & Executive Director of Energy Action Partners on Monday, 28 September 2015. The guest was accompanied by Miss Sara Ismeth and welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Research and Development Division, Assoc.Prof.Dr. AB Rahim Ismail his office and expressed his delight for the visit, which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and international organization.
The honored guest expressed her gladness of visiting MEDIU to view closely on the modern technology in support to the e-learning process as well as to seek potential collaboration in the field of training and development to contribute to the community. Miss Ayu Abdullah was particularly impressed with the development of the University’s by using its own technological expertise in the field of distance education and looking forward to potential collaboration between the two parties n the field of distance training.
The session was also attended by Chief Technology Officer; Mr. Zainul Azhan Ahmad Bashir, Dean Admission and Registration; Asst. Prof. Dr Mohammed Abdulrazzaq, Mr.Ahmed Abdirahman Herzi from the University Development and Quality and Public Relations Coordinator, Mr. Ahmad Fallatah.
Energy Action Partners (http://www.enactpartners.org/) is a US-registered non-profit that focuses on capacity building and educational programs in the energy access sector. The company run programs and workshops internationally and are currently exploring blended models of learning through online resources.
