The QS Higher Education System Strength Rankings, an assessment of overall system strength and flagship university performance, alongside factors relating to access and funding recently published its ranking on May 2016. With this, the higher education system in Malaysia ranked at 27th place out of 50 global education system with the index of 52.9%.
The United States, United Kingdom and Germany ranked as the top three on higher education system rankings meanwhile Saudi Arabia ranked at the 36th place. In addition to the inclusion of the top 50 list of higher education system strength ranking, the website provides a one stop centre of information on each of the nation’s university’s availability and academic programs, application on fees and visa and so forth.
Malaysia recently as well occupies the ninth place among the world’s best educational systems based on the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in spite of the quality and effectiveness of the Malaysian education system, low range of tuition fees and living costs compared with the Western countries.
