30/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 30^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Friday, 11 September 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MTF103AG898] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.40
• To award the student [MHD131BA730] majoring Master in Ulum Hadith (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.57
• To award the student [PFQ133BD820] majoring PhD in Fiqh (By Research).
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saad Mahdi’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr. Waleed Mohammed Saleh Ahmed’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr. Sekou Toure’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
• To approve the graduated students for Faculty of Languages (Foundation) in the following semester:

  • Feb 2014
• To approve the graduated students for Faculty of Computer and Information Technology (Bachelor) in the following semester:
  • Sept 2010-2012
  • Feb 2011-2012
• To approve the graduated students for Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences (Bachelor) in the following semester:
