43/2015 Executive Management Council(EMC) Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 43^rd Executive Management Council (EMC) meeting on Wednesday, 3 September 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matter as follow:

• To assign ‘Prof.Dr.Ideris Zakaria’ as external examiner for Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• To assign ‘Ir.Hj.Mohad Saleh bin Hj.Shamlani’ as member of the advisory panel for Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• To change the contract of Assoc.Prof.Mohamed Noor Abu Hassan; lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering from 2 to 3 subjects starting Sept 2015.
• To assign ‘Kamarulzaman bin Md Nor’ as lab technician for the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• To approve on the purchase of license for Statistical Analysis Software / Predictive Analytics Software (SPSS) for the quality of research of postgraduate students and academic staff.
• To approve on opening the short semester of June 2015 for the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Languages, Computer and Information Technology from the date 15/6/2015.
