18/2016 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 18^th Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 29 April 2016. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MAR143BF956] majoring Master in Arabic Language (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA: 3.94
• To accept the equivalent of Secondary School Certificate of Darul Quran Institute with Malaysian Higher School Certificate.
• To amend the current subject code of ’Research Methodology’ from [GRME1033] to [GRME5013] in each of the following program:
  • Master of Education (Curriculum and Instruction)
  • Master of Education (Education Psychology)
  • Master of Education (Educational Foundations)
