14/2016 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 14^th Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 25 March 2016. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [PTF133BA940] majoring PhD in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (By Research).
• To award the student [PAR141BD407] majoring PhD in Arabic Language (By Research).
• To approve the extension period for one semester for Master student of Feb 2016 intake [MEC113AO221].
• To look into the termination of eleven (11) students due to the CGPA <3.00 in two consecutive semesters.
