Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit from Maahad Darul Quran, Rusila, Marang in Terengganu on Tuesday, 1 March 2016. The visit of the delegation was chaired by Dato ‘Hussein as Chairman of the Administrative Council Maahad accompanied by Haji Yassin bin Saleh, Institute Director, board members and academic staff.
The delegates welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs; Assoc.Prof.Dr.Wan Mat Wan Sulaiman. Deputy CEO expressed his delight for the visit, which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and international organization. Among other MEDIU representatives present during the visit are Assoc.Prof.Dr.Daud Quadir Elega, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Usman Jakfar, Mr.Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman and PR officials.
The delegates expressed their gladness of visiting MEDIU to closely view on the modern technology in support to the e-learning process as well as to seek potential collaboration to revive the education programs that contributes to the social community activities. The visit is part educational field trips to allow staff the institute to get more information about the university and program of study conducted mainly from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences and the Faculty of Languages.
MEDIU’s management expressed his gratitude for the visit and his keenness to increase the opportunities for constructive cooperation between the two parties in the implementation of social welfare and charity service which benefited the nation.
