12/2016 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 12^th Academic Senate Meeting on Friday, 2 March 2016. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MDW123AY719] majoring Master in Da’wah (Coursework + Project Paper/Case Study) with CGPA: 3.76
• To approve the extension period for one semester for students of Sept 2015 intake [MAR123AV859], [MEC113AP329], [MEP123AY680] and [MTF113AQ478].
• To approve the extension period for one semester for master students of Feb 2016 intake [MDW123AY210], [MFQ123AY189], [MFQ123AX779], [MHD131BA729], [MHD131BA732], [MIB123AX505] and [MQD131AZ423].
• To approve the extension period for one semester for PhD students of Feb 2016 intake [PFS111AK087].
• To approve the extension period for one semester for Master students of Sept 2015 & Feb 2016 intake [MAQ123AW404], [MAR123AY377], [MEI121AV128], [MEC113AR526], [MFS123AV063], [MFS113AR439] and [MIT123AW566].
• To approve the extension period for one semester for PhD student [PFQ103AJ017].
