Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guest, Prof. Dr. Amin Mohammad Salam Al-Manasyeh, a prominent lecturer and former dean of the Faculty of Shariah, University Mu’tah, Jordan on Saturday, 23 January 2016. The honored guest expressed his gratitude to the University’s management for the opportunity. The guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s representatives namely Asst.Prof Dr. Elsayed Mohamed Salem, Mr. Othman A.M. Miaikil, Asst.Prof.Dr. Yousef Abu Baker El-Ebiary, Mr.Abduloh Usof and Mr.Jamaluddin Hussain who expressed their pleasure for his visit.
The program which lasted for two hours had attracted almost 150 participants consisting of university students, staff and the community in which he has delivered a discourse on the importance of knowledge. He stressed that the most important thing for a human being is the pursuit of knowledge and many hadith by the Prophet Muhammad S.A,W had emphasizes on this matter, “Ya Allah, increase me in knowledge, and give me an understanding.”
At the end of the program, Mr.Aiman Sufian from the Marketing Department has drawn the attention of the participants on MEDIU’s academic programs, the role of the university to contemporary education through virtual learning (on line) and conventional method (on campus) in various areas of study as well as to realize the vision of the Malaysian government to the ‘Internationalisation of Higher Education’.
