Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guest from Qassim University, Saudi Arabia; Sheikh Abdurrahman Bin Abdul Aziz Bin Saleh Bin Muhammad Al-‘Aql on Thursday, 7 January 2016. Sheikh Abdurrahman is a lecturer at the Department of Hadith, Faculty of Law and imam/preacher at Ibn Qayyim Mosque. The honored was accompanied by the Former Religious Attaché of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Embassy, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Bulaihi.
The delegates was welcomed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in the presence of Deputy CEO R&D Division, Assoc. Prof.Dr.AB Rahim Ismail; Deputy CEO Student Affairs Division, Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Yusoff Sulaiman; Manager of Administrative Affairs Division, Mr. Fuad Ahmad Al’As; Dean of Scientific Research, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Sekou Toure and Public Relations personnel.
Visual presentations of the University’s and its history; which provides an overview of the University’s faculties and academic programs were being presented to the honored guest. The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU to have a closer insights on the achievements by the University’s. Sheikh Abdurrahman was honored to deliver a discourse session related to the technical and career skills as educators based on his research and experiences. The program was moderated by Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Sekou Toure which lasted for two hours and was participated by the university staff and students.
Later, the honored guest accompanied by Honorable CEO made an office tour to view the academic and administrative facilities closely and were particularly impressed by the level MEDIU’s has reached and expressed his admiration in the guestbook saying; “Praise be to God for the opportunity to visit Al-Madinah International University and was delighted to see the tremendous achievements of the Islamic university that is still young, good organization and accuracy of work in academic achievement and development of the university. We ask Allah SWT to give the benefits to the university and bless their efforts.”
