13/2015 Academic Senate Meeting

MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired the 13^th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2015 on Tuesday, 14 April 2015. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongst the senate members.

Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:

• To award the student [MTF113AQ521] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.87.
• To award the student [PEI123AW518] majoring PhD of Education (Curriculum and Instruction) (By Research).
• To award the student [MTF133BC295] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.67.
• To award the student [MTF133BC992] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.90.
• To award the student [MAR133BD716] majoring Master in Arabic Language (By Research).
• To award the student [MQD123AX992] majoring Master in Qada and Siyasah Shar’iyyah (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.76.
• To award the student [MTF133BC238] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.73.
• To award the student [PUF123AY112] majoring PhD in Usul Al-Fiqh (By Research).
• To award the student [MUF131BA407] majoring Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (Coursework + Thesis) with CGPA:3.53.
• To award the student [MAR131BA198] majoring Master in Arabic Language (By Research) with CGPA: 3.83.
• To approve the final results of Feb 2015 Faculty of Languages (Foundation program) on the following on campus intake:

  • April 2014
• To terminate student [BAR08302010] who fails in the same subject twice in a row.
• To terminate student [MFQ113AQ378] due to breach of academic integrity.
• To promote ‘ Prof. Dr Elsiddig Ahmad Al-Jazoly’ to Assoc.Prof according to his google scholar publication.
