MQA Accrediation Visit – Master in Economics (MQA/FA 0449)

Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) panels and officers visited MEDIU for its accreditation visit for its master academic programs (online/on campus) for the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences on 7-8 September 2015. The delegation panels were Prof. Datuk Dr.Mad Nasir Shumsuin (UPM), Dr.Baayah Baba (UiTM), Assoc.Prof.Dr.Rozinah Jamaludin (USM) meanwhile MQA officer were represented by Miss Noor Azlin Sulaiman.

The master academic program that was being evaluated is Master in Economics (MQA/FA 0449). The delegation was welcomed by Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc.Prof. Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman; Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Ismail Mat; Deputy Dean, Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani along with the academic faculty members, registrar personnel as well as administrative officers.

The evaluation of the programs involves discussion and interview session with the deans and lecturers, reviewing of documentation as well as interviewing the students and lecturers through online method. At the end of the visit, Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division presented token of appreciation to the delegates and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
