Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) took a step forward in extending bridges of cooperation and moving ahead towards achieving its objective and vision, as well to be in connection with international organization. Recently, MEDIU acknowledged as a member of International Islamic Council for Da`wa and Relief, based in Cairo, Egypt. The membership is to build bridges of cooperation between various charities and international Islamic organizations.
MEDIU acceptance as a member of the council has assented by the members of the Board of Directors, in a Council Meeting held on 10 December 2014 and the acknowledgement was received through its General Manager, Mr. Ahmed Saudi. The council hopes the University’s will assist to leverage its expertise in implementing activities and social welfare in line with the mission and objectives of the organization.
International Islamic Council for Da’wah and Relief is a global Islamic organization with the main task to coordinate the efforts of more than one hundred Islamic official bodies and worldwide organizations worldwide with the objective is to promote the message of Islam, improve the relations between Islamic peoples, and provide aid and assistance to the needy, orphans, and widows.
