Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) visited the Graduate Centre, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM) on Thursday, 29 January 2015. The delegation visit was headed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division, Assoc.Prof. Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman accompanied by the respective division deans.
The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations and to strengthen potential cooperation between the two universities and merely to exchange experiences to the needs of the university’s. MEDIU’s delegates was welcomed by the Director, Prof.Dr. Andanastuti Muchtar; Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Academic Quality, Prof.Dr.Ishak Ahmad; Deputy Director of Development and Mentoring Graduate, Prof. Madya Dr.Romlah Jaffar along with Coordinator of the Graduate Centre.
During the session, various agenda were discussed between the two parties namely on the material of research methods, the academic curriculum, students scientific activities and such. Thus, MEDIU hopes to gain knowledge from UKM, which have been recognized by Ministry of Education as a hub of excellence for education and research on the status of University Research (Research University).
