Students Study Experience in Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) – English

An interview session was conducted by the Public Relations Department with the co-operation from the Students Affairs Department to conduct interviews with students from different fields to identify their learning experience inside the multicultural and multinational Islamic university environment.

Interview 1:

Sibghatullah Jameel – Pakistan

  1. Why did you apply to Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU)?
  • Heard lots of positive things and benefits from my friends who have completed their studies in MEDIU.
  1. Why did you choose the course you’re doing and what do you like about them?
  • Like to study about Islam and hope that it will be beneficial for me to learn more about Islam.
  1. Which subject did you like best? Why?
  • Islamic Education, as it teaches about Islam and its perspective in life.
  1. How will the academic program you’ve taken benefit your career in future?
  • I hope theknowledge I’ve gained here ableto get me to become a scholar and to give back knowledge to my people.

  1. Why did you apply to Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU)?
  • To gain experience in an Islamic environment university, and indeed it was amazing experience.
  1. Why did you choose the course you’re doing and what do you like about them?
  • It is the current job trend in my nation and would love to acquire knowledge on it. The classes here are in small scale therefore lecturers are more focus towards the students.
  1. How will the academic program you’ve taken benefit your career in future?
  • To get equipped with the knowledge in this areas as to serve my nation once I graduated.
  1. Describe your most rewarding University’s experience. Your most challenging.
  • A new experience every day, very welcoming place; feels like home and met many new friends from different countries and cultures.
