MEDIU’s 11th Executive Management Council (EMC) Meeting

 MEDIU’s CEO; Prof.Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi chaired its 11^th EMC meeting on Thursday, 20 March 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO’s from all respective departments as well as executive management level. Various agenda were being addressed and discoursed in the meeting.

The EMC has agreed and approved on the matters as follows:

–          To renew the appointment of Mr. Mahmoud Radwan Hussein Al-Zgool as Head of Counseling and Student Activities Department for 1(one) year effective 18/01/2014.

–          MEDIU’s participation in Education Carnival ‘Jom Masuk U’ organized by Ministry of Education in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu from 28-29 March 2014.

–          To approve on the exemption of tuition fees for student [AR811] majoring Master in Islamic Banking and Finance (By Research)-Full Time.

–          Renewal of Sophos Antivirus from Advance Jupiter Sdn.Bhd.

–          Renewal of the license for Wiziq

–          To reactivate the suspended students to teach 2(two) subjects in order to revoke their tuition fees for Sept 2013 as stated in the EMC Meeting Minutes No.(14)10

–          Amendment on EMC meeting minutes No.MEDIUMYGOV5.3.1(14)010 Article No. 13 which states “recommendation on revoking the students [AV115] & [PIT141BE123] from Tuition Fees for Feb 2014 for teaching 2(two) for the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology” to “appoint part time lecturers to teach the following subjects for Feb 2014(online)”;
