With the grace of God Al-Mighty; MEDIU has added a new achievement record by earning its 2nd rank in the Malaysia’s private university level and 8th place for the overall Universities in Malaysia. This result is according to the Australian Classification of Universities and International Institutes (4ICUs) for the second half of 2014.
The University has got through the classification results of the National Center for Research Universal (WIPO Matrix) for the first half of 2014; with the results of 1st place in the category of private Malaysian universities and 7th in the Malaysian universities in general. MEDIU’s ranked 41st for East Asian region universities, 435th among Asia region universities; and managed to get the 11th rank for category of Arabic and Islamic universities and place 1,450th place for worldwide universities.
TheAustralian Classification of Universities and International Institutes(4ICUs) is a world ranking classification as the University’s websites is measured by the recognition or accreditation received from international organizations and institutions. The classification is being acknowledged for every six months period; and the data is updated for all the universities and colleges that participates; with a total of 11,300 universities and colleges from 200 countries are categorized according to the recognition of its website.
The classification is based on three independent and objective measures at web, derived from three research engines:
- Google page ranking
- Alexa traffic ranking
- MEDIU website classification for other external sites (Majestic SEO)
