Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a visit from the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) on Thursday, 17 July 2014. The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia with its vision to be the driving force in training and development of the workforce while its mission is to enhance workforce knowledge, skills and capabilities through effective management of its fund.
HRDF were represented by Mr. Syamsuri Bin Sulong with the objective to evaluate the training facilities at the MEDIU Training and Continuing Education Center in order to register as a recognized training provider with the HRDF. While, MEDIU were represented by Assoc. Prof. Ab Rahim Ismail; Deputy CEO of Research and Development Division, Mr.Abdilahi Liban and Mr. Ahmed Moussa from the Training Center and Mrs.Azreen Zainal Abidin, HR Manager.
The program begins with welcoming remarks by Assoc. Prof. Ab Rahim Ismail as well as discussion session on the MEDIU Training and Continuing Education Center. This was followed by an office tour to view the computer labs, classes and halls to have a better insight on the training facilities and was impressed with the state of the facilities by MEDIU Training and Continuing Education Center.
