MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman chaired the 36th Academic Senate Meeting for the year 2014 on Wednesday, 9 July 2014. The meeting was attended by Deputy CEO from all respective departments and academic deans. Throughout the session, various agenda on academic areas were being addressed and discoursed amongsthe senate members.
Among the discussions that have been agreed and approved by the senate members are as follows:
- To award the student [PTF123AV457] majoring PhD in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (By Research)
- To award the student [MUF103AG287] majoring Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (By Research)
- To award the student [MQD113AR562] majoring Master in Qada’ and Siyasah Syar’iyyah (By Research)
- To award the student [MTF131BA317] majoring Master in Tafsir and ‘Ulum Al-Quran (Structure B) with CGPA:3.78
- To award the student [MUF131AT445] majoring Master in Usul Al-Fiqh (Structure B) with CGPA:3.94
- To award the student [PFS113AR425] majoring PhD in Fiqh Al-Sunnah (By Research)
- To award the student [MQD133BB565] majoring Master in Qada’ and Siyasah Syar’iyyah (Structure C) with CGPA:3.64
- To approve the standard duration to accomplish the task of approving the results of Master programs (Structure A & B) 90 days from the stage of submission of final report of correction period is 2 weeks.
- To approve the standard duration to accomplish the task of approving the results of Master programs (Structure A) 120 days from the stage of submission of final report of correction period is 1 month.
- To approve the standard duration to accomplish the task of approving the results of PhD programs (Structure A) 180 days from the stage of submission of final report of correction period is 3 months.
- To approve the recommendation of the student’s guide content for the faculties.
- To approve the student [ADM13BD158] admission majoring in Master of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Coursework+Thesis) – Part Time through Open Entry requirement.
