Al-Madinah International University Welcomes Second Cohort of Indonesian Female Students for the “Arabic Language Skills Empowerment & Get to Know Malaysia” Programme

Al-Madinah International University welcomed the second cohort of female students from Indonesia, comprising 26 students accompanied by several teachers, to participate in the “Arabic Language Skills Empowerment & Get to Know Malaysia” Programme. The programme is organised as part of the educational and cultural collaboration between Al-Madinah International University and Darularafah University in the Republic of Indonesia.

A delegation from Al-Madinah International University welcomed the students upon their arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, after which arrangements were made for their transfer to the Riyad Restu Educational Complex in collaboration with Yayasan Restu, marking the commencement of their educational and cultural programme in Malaysia.

The programme aims to enhance the students’ Arabic language skills and familiarise them with Al-Madinah International University, its academic programmes, and educational environment. It also provides the students with opportunities to explore Malaysian culture and heritage and benefit from Malaysia’s rich civilisational and tourism experiences.

The programme includes intensive Arabic language classes, together with educational visits to several important landmarks and institutions in Malaysia. These activities enable the students to combine academic learning with cultural experiences and gain a deeper understanding of Malaysian society.

The students will also sit for the “HAMZA” Test, in collaboration with the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, to measure their language proficiency and assess their Arabic language skills according to recognised standards.

The arrival of this second cohort marks a continuation of the collaboration between Al-Madinah International University and educational institutions in Indonesia, as well as the ongoing implementation of educational and cultural programmes for Indonesian students. These initiatives contribute to strengthening academic and cultural exchange between the two sides.
