MEDIU staffs collected an emergency fund for two Malaysian undergraduate students whom were involved in a road accident recently. The contribution was given to the student during MEDIU’s official visit to Darul Ehsan Medical Centre(DEMC), Shah Alam on Monday, 28 April 2014. The visit was led by the Deputy CEO of Student Affairs Division; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail bin Mat, Deanship of Student Affairs; Assoc.Prof. Dr.Moussa Oumar Keita, Head of Public Relations; Ust. Jamaluddin Hussain and Head of Corporate Services; Ust. Ahmad Fauzan Yahaya.
Both students were majoring in Usuluddin are husband and wife; Firdaus Bin Abdul Latif and Raba’atul Adawiyah. They were on their way back home from class when the accident occurred. Both of them are former students of University Abu Nour in Syria, returned home to Malaysia after the crisis in Syria and furthering their studies in MEDIU. Raba’atul who is heavily pregnant suffered critical injuries and lost their child in the accident. They were both admitted to Darul Ehsan Medical Centre(DEMC), Shah Alam for treatment.
MEDIU’s representatives spent approximately 20 minutes with the students and the contribution was given by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ismail bin Mat. MEDIU’s management and staffs prays Sister Raba’atul who have gone through an operation to heal and recover faster. May Allah SWT granted good health and well-being to both of the students, Firdaus and Raba’atul. And, may all the trials will be replaced by the noble in the sight of God and conferred by His mercy and blessings.
