Workshop: Safety Management Systems Framework – Going Beyond Compliance

MEDIU’s Faculty of Engineering recently held a workshop session on “Safety Management Systems Framework– Going Beyond Compliance” on Thursday, 15 December 2016. The session was in collaboration with Proton Holdings Berhad and was delivered by Madam Norwani Ahmat. Head of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Department of Proton Holdings.

The workshop discussed various topics of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and how to plan and create a comprehensive safety management system framework in a workplace. The session was attended by the university’s academician and students in the presence of Faculty’s Dean, Prof. Ir. Dr. Wan Mahmood Wan Ab. Majid  and Deputy Dean, Mr. Yousef Ali Mohammed Al-Gumaei.
