Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) visited the The Centre for Research Instrumentation (CRIM) and Faculty of Islamic Studies of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on Wednesday, 27 April 2016. The delegation visit was headed by Dean of Scientific Research, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Sekou Toure accompanied by Assoc. Prof.Dr. Ashraff Hasan Mohammad; Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, Asst.Prof.Dr.Usman Jakfar; Dean Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies; Asst. Prof. Dr. Assad Mohamed Moindze and Mr. Kutaiba Jaafar Jalal Al-Awqati; R&D Officer.
The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations between the two universities in the framework of scientific research and quality of educational care in universities and merely to exchange experiences to the needs of the university’s. MEDIU delegates was welcomed by Hon. Professor Datin Dr. Ruzy Suliza binti Hashim, Deputy Director (Planning, Operations and Quality); Dr. Rosmanira binti Wan Ismail, Deputy Director (Division of Statistics and Monitoring) and Assoc.Prof.Dr.Salasiah Hanin Hamjah, Deputy Dean (Reserach & Innovation). The visit resulted in the need for joint research between the two universities researchers and faculty members held therein, and take advantage of local and international trainers in the areas of project and various scientific research. Later, the delegates had the opportunity to visit the Faculty of Islamic Studies where they were welcomed by the Dean,Prof. Dr.Wan Kamal Mujani; Deputy Dean (Graduate and International Relations), Assoc.Prof.Dr.Shofian Hj. Ahmad and Dr.Rosmawati Mohamad Rasit, Senior Lecturer for the Department of Da’wah & Leadership Studies.
