Visit to The Islamic Religious Council and Malay Custom of Kelantan (MAIK)

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) hosted an official visit to the Islamic Religious Council and Malay Custom of Kelantan (MAIK) in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on Sunday, 9 October 2016. The official delegation visit was headed by Honorable CEO, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi accompanied by Mr.Saad Al Hussein, External Relations Advisor in the presence of Mr.Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations and Mr. Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman, Head of Marketing Department. The delegates was welcomed by Deputy president of MAIK, Honorable Dr.Haji Nik Mohd Azlan bin Abd Hadi and council’s officials.

The visit aims to discuss potential ways to develop relations between MEDIU and The Islamic Religious Council of Kelantan in regards to discuss on the potential collaboration to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in the areas of education field development and establishment of university’s branch towards the implementation on the idea of ‘Centre of Excellence for Islamic Studies Regional’ especially in the state of Kelantan in accordance with the state’s principle of ‘Developing With Islam’.
