Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) visited Restu Foundation in Shah Alam, Selangor on Thursday, 6 November 2014. The visit sets as a platform to introduce the existence of Al-Madinah International University and to discuss ways to develop relations and exchange of views and experiences between the two parties. MEDIU’s delegates was welcomed by the Chairman of Restu Foundation; Datuk Abdul Latif Mirasa and Haji Muhammad Fadli Bin Ismail; Senior Management of the Publication Division.
The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail; MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Research and Development Division, Assoc. Prof.Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman; MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division, Mr. Mohd Shahrin Ab Rahman; Head of Marketing and accompanied by Head of Public Relations Department; Ust. Jamaluddin Hussain.
The visit is essential to build relationship and cooperation with the foundation in seeking potential educational ties between the two organizations concerning in spreading the message of the beauty in Islam through Islamic arts as well as a choice for the graduates of the Restu College to pursue their higher education through online or conventional method in various MEDIU academic programs.
The Restu Foundation was established in 1988 is a non-profit aims to spread the message of Islam throughout the world, to strengthen the faith of Muslims and revive the field of Islamic arts. In 1994, Restu Foundation made a history in Malaysia by being the first foundation in the country to developed and copy the Al-Qur’an manuscript.
