Visit to Quality Management and Enhancement Centre, UM

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) management personnel led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bakare Kazeem Kayode, Dean of University Development and Quality held an official visit to the Quality Management and Enhancement Centre (QMEC), University Malaya on Wednesday, 10 February 2016. The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations between MEDIU and University Malaya (UM) in the framework of academic and institutional quality development areas.

MEDIU delegates was welcomed by Prof.Dr. Suzeini ABD. Halim, Director of Quality Management and Enhancement Centre and Pn. Raja Sothi Raja Sapai, Principal Assistant Registrar. University officials namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cader Mohideen Mohamed Abobucker, Senior Lecturer Faculty of Engineering; Madam Nurul Ashikin Abdul Latiff, Senior Executive Registrar Office; Mr. Abdilahi Liban, Head of Admin Development and Training Department and Mr.Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations Department participated in the discussion session.

Among the areas that were being discussed are on common areas and similarities between both university in the aspect of institutional quality development such as MQA regulation compliance procedure, internal programme quality monitoring and review process, structure and management of quality assurance unit, standard operating practice (SOP) development, implementation, monitoring and review process and others.
