Visit to International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA)

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) visited the International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) on Thursday, 15 September 2016. The visit was led by Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ammar Abdulwahab accompanied by Dean, Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani.

The visit was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Said Bouheraoua; Deputy Director of Research,Research Affairs Department with the aim to discuss ways to develop relations and to strengthen potential cooperation between the two parties and merely to exchange experiences to the needs of the university’s scientific research areas, merely in the areas of various scientific research, academic journals and workshops between the two institutions.

ISRA is established to promote applied research in the area of Shari’ah and Islamic finance, also act as a repository of knowledge for Shari’ah views (fatwas) and undertake studies on contemporary issues in the Islamic financial industry.
