Visit to IIUM by the Department of Scientific Research

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) visited the Research Management Centre (CRM) and Faculty Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences of International Islamic University Malaysia(IIUM) in Gombak, Selangor on Wednesday, 16 March 2016. The delegation visit was headed by Dean of Scientific Research, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Sekou Toure accompanied by Assoc. Prof.Dr. Ashraff Hasan Mohammad; Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, Asst.Prof.Dr.Usman Jakfar; Dean Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Mr. Muhammad Zihni Khalid; R&D Executive and Mr.Abduloh Usof; Head of Corporate Services Department.

The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations and to strengthen potential cooperation in the framework of the development of scientific research and the quality of educational care in universities and merely to exchange experiences to the needs of the university’s. MEDIU’s delegates was welcomed by the Dean of Research Management Centre; Prof. Dr.Ratnawati Mohd Asraf, Deputy Dean; Prof.Dr. Nor Faridah Abdul Manaf, Dr. Shahrul Na’im Sidek, Madam Hasnah Hashim, Madam Haslina Shansuddin and Madan Nur Nadhirah Kamaruddin. Later, the delegates had the opportunity to visit the Faculty of Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences (IRKHS), where they were welcomed by Faculty’s Dean; Prof. Ibrahim Mohamed Zain.

A detailed presentation on the centre’s and faculty operational and management background as well as its historical background of the centre’s restructuring, its evolution upward, the policies of scientific research and means of implementation and ways of cooperation between the two parties were being discussed.
