The Faculty of Islamic Sciences (FIS) of Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) recently visited the Faculty Islamic Studies of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on Monday, 12 March 2018. The visit was headed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doucoure Abdou Samadou; Dean FIS, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Usman Jakfar; Director of Al-Madinah Centre for Islamic Studies, faculty lecturers namely Asst. Prof. Dr.Sami Samir Abdelfattah, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amaluddin La Mani and Mr. Jamaluddin Hussain, Head of Public Relations Department.
The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations between the two universities in the framework of quality of Islamic studies areas and to exchange experiences on the qurriculum academic structure. MEDIU delegates was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Wan Kamal Mujani, Dean Faculty Islamic Studies; Dr. Mohammad Zaini Yahaya, Centre for Contemporary Fiqh and Syariah Compliance; Dr. Abdull Rahman bin Mahmood, Centre for Akidah and Global Peace; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahamad Asmadi Sakat, Turath Islami Sustainability Centre and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamarudin Salleh, Centre for Akidah and Global Peace
