Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted a courtesy visit by His Honorable Sheikh Dr.Abdul Muhsin Al-Qaasim, Imam of the Prophet Mosque in Madinah on Thursday, 18 December 2014. His Honorable Sheikh Dr.Abdul Muhsin was accompanied by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Albeliehi; Islamic Advisor in Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The honored guests were welcomed by Honorable MEDIU’s CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with respected Deputy CEO’s; Assoc. Prof Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman and Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail as well as academic deans namely. Assoc. Prof.Dr Daud Abdul Quadir Elega and Asst. Prof. Dr. Usman Jakfar. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi expressed his pleasure and gratefulness of the visit by the Imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque.
Visual presentations of the University’s and its history; which provides an overview of the University’s faculties and academic programs were being presented to the honored delegates. The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU to view closely on the modern technology in support to the e-learning process as well as the have a closer insights on the achievements by the University’s. His Honorable Sheikh Dr.Abdul Muhsin Al-Qassim praised MEDIU’s role in enhancing the usage of modern technology among Muslim in disseminating knowledge through various disciplines throughout the world and being an endowment university from Saudi origin.
Later, the honored delegates accompanied by MEDIU’s CEO made an office tour to view the academic and administrative facilities closely and at the end of the visit, His Honorable Sheikh Dr.Abdul Muhsin Al-Qassim Budair stated in the guest book; “I am very happy to see the progress and development of the University, especially in strides in spreading science and education through the modern learning technique. It is the price of the outstanding effort of the university, particularly to Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi who had made successful in contributing to the development of excellence in the education sector.”
