Visit to Faculty of Major Languages, USIM

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) visited the Faculty of Major Languages of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) on Friday, 10 April 2015. The delegation visit was headed by Assoc. Prof.Dr.Daud Abdul Quadir; Dean Faculty of Languages accompanied by respective faculty lecturers.

The visit aims to discuss ways to develop relations and to strengthen potential cooperation between the two universities and merely to exchange experiences to the needs of the university’s. MEDIU’s delegates was welcomed by the Dean, Faculty of Major Languages; Dr. Nor Azizi Ismail along with the respective faculty officials, Mr. Wan Moharani Mohammad; Senior Lecturer Arabic Language, Dr.Noor Saazai Mat Saad; Senior Lecturer English Language and Madan Zaharah Zainal Abidin, Registrar (Academic).

During the session, various agenda were discussed between the two parties among others the best approach in teaching Arabic and English as a second language, exchange of experience in the delivery methods used, the measurement and evaluation of the language skills systems in order to produce knowledgeable graduates, skilled and professional in the field of language studies. The visit was attended by MEDIU’s Faculty of Languages lecturers namely Asst.Prof.Dr.Elsayed Mohamed Salem, Asst.Prof.Dr.Abdulwasiu Isiaq Nasirudden, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Flayyih Mudhhi Ahmed,  Mr.KuhiriAbu Bakar and Mr. Ahmed Muhamed Wafiq Othman.
