Visit by UniTECH-UNISSA

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored visitors from the ICT Unit (UniTECH) of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Brunei on Wednesday, 11 June 2014. The honored guest was led by HE Haji Isa Hj Md Tahir; Chief Technology Officer and HE Haji Othman Bin Haji Mohd Ya’akub; Deanship of Library Affairs. The honored visitors was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Head of Technology Infrastructure Services; Mr. Mohamad Zaman Shahri, Head of Ext. & Int. System Development; Mr. Zainul Azhan Ahmad Bashir and MEDIU’s Research and Development Division officer; Mr. Maged Mustafa Mahyoub.

The aim of the visit is to exchange experience in various fields and to discuss further on future cooperation in the field of research and scientific, academics and library management. The discussion includes on the technical support in the areas of science and in line with modern technology in the field of distance and conventional learning. The guests expressed their admiration to the use of technology in MEDIU among it is the Campus Management System (CMS) and Advanced Learning i-Management (ALIM). At the end of the visit, the honored guests seek potential future collaboration and later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative facilities.
