Visit by the Parliament Speaker of the State of Katsina, Nigeria

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received an honored guest, Mr.Aliyu Ibrahim, the Parliament Speaker of the State of Katsina, Nigeria and delegates on Monday, 14 March 2016. The honored guest welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office. CEO expressed his delight for the goodwill visit by the university’s alumni member, which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and international organization.

The delegates expressed their gladness of visiting MEDIU to view closely on the university’s progress and ahievement and to seek potential collaboration to revive the welfare programs and contribute to social and community support activities. CEO expressed his gratitude for the alumni’s visit and congratulated his success in running for the Parliament Speaker of the State of Katsina. It is indeed an achievement to be proud by the university’s and this shall increase the opportunities for constructive cooperation between the two parties in the implementation of social welfare and services which benefited the nation. Mr.Aliyu  graduated in February 2014 from the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology.

MEDIU’s representative participated on the visit were Deputy CEO of Student Affairs; Prof. Dr. Wan Sulaiman Wan Yusuf, Deputy CEO of  Research and Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Languages ​​and Head of  Centre of Languages; Assoc.Prof. Dr. Daud Quadir Elega and Head of Islamic Jurisprudence Department,; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Umar Aliyu Abubakar.
