Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received delegation visit from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) based in Abuja, Nigeria on Thursday, 3 May 2018. The visit aims to closely monitor and follow up on the level of their students, who are under their scholarships as well as to build relationship with the University. The delegation was led by Barrister Ifiok Ukim; Director, Executive Secretary’s Office accompanied by TETFund representatives namely Engr. Mustapha Gotala, Deputy Director, Monitoring & Evaluation; Mr. Joseph Odo, Assistant Director, ICT and Mr. Khalil Abdul; HRM Department.
TETFund is a federal government agency under the Federal Government Agency under the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja, Nigeria. It provides intervention funds for the improvement of teaching and learning infrastructures and resources, facilities and content. MEDIU is selected as among the reputable foreign institutions where the selected students pursue various higher degrees on sponsorship by the fund. TETFund as a policy will monitors all its sponsored scholars from time to time to ensure on the performance of the students as well as to interact with both the scholars and the University authority.
