Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received a delegation visit from Salahaddin University (SU), Erbil in Kurdistan Region, Iran on Friday, 24 February 2017. The visit was led by Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed Mohammed Amin, General Advisor of SU and welcomed by Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ammar Abdulwahab with the aim to look more closely in MEDIU’s implementation as distance learning education and its achievements.
During the visit, an overview of the university’s education system is in the adoption of the latest technology as well as a pioneer in e-learning method in pursuit of global modern educational system were briefed to the guests. At the end of the visit, token of appreciation were presented to the delegation and convey their admiration towards MEDIU achievements and reputation in a short period of time since its inception.
Salahaddin University (http://su.edu.krd) is founded in 1968 in Sulaimani. In 1981, the university was moved to Erbil and the name was changed to Salahaddin University-Erbil. Salahaddin University-Erbil is the oldest and largest public comprehensive university in Kurdistan region. It is the educational home to more than 26,000 undergraduates and more than 900 graduate students. Salahaddin University-Erbil offers more than 75 programs from diploma, bachelors, masters and doctoral levels. The programs include in the areas of Engineering, Science, Law & Politics, Agriculture, Business & Administration, Physical Education, Art and Sociology, Fine Arts, Languages, Religion, and Teaching method.
