Visit by Rohingyan Organization

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit from the Ronghiyan Organization on Tuesday, 1 December 2015. The delegates was led by Prof. Mohammad Omar Maulavi, Encik Ismail Abdelsalam dan Encik Hassan Mahmoud and was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi in his office. CEO xpressed his delight for the visit, which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and international organization. The delegates expressed their gladness of visiting MEDIU to view closely on the modern technology in support to the e-learning process as well as to seek potential collaboration to revive the welfare programs and contribute to social and community support activities.

CEO expressed his gratitude for the visit and his keenness to increase the opportunities for constructive cooperation between the two parties in the implementation of social welfare and charity service which benefited the nation.

MEDIU recently in July held an ‘Humanitarian Aid Program For Rohingya Migrants’, a noble program organized by the Students Affairs Division with the intention to assist the Rohingya Migrants. The contribution consist of 80 boxes of goods such as clothes, disposable items, dry and canned foods, books, shoes, praying attires, toiletries, towel and blanket was delivered to the Immigration Department of Malaysia in Putrajaya, Selangor.
