Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) received a delegation visit by International Islamic College, Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, 23 October 2014. The visit is intended as a courtesy and discussions to strengthen cooperation between MEDIU and IIC especially to seek potential collaboration in the academic programs between both parties. IIC delegation was led by Dr. Sany Izan Ihsan; Deputy CEO of Academic, Puan Nor Akma Farizan Yunus; Director of Academic Affairs along with two other representatives.
The delegation was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Deputy CEO of Student Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr.Ismail Mat along with the academic deans; Asst. Prof. Dr. Usman Jakfar, Mr.Mohammed Abdullah Ali Alkhawlani and Asst. Prof. Dr. Najeeb Abbas Al-Sammarraie from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences and Faculty of Computer and Information Technology. A brief MEDIU’s introduction on its achievement, academic programs were presented to the delegation by Sis Faridah Baharun from the Marketing Department.
During the fruitful discussion, Dr. Sany Izan Ihsan expressed his appreciation to MEDIU for the visit and states that the objective is merely to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation, especially in the collaboration of academic field namely for the Bachelor programs in the three disciplines – Islamic Sciences, Business Administration and Information Technology. At the end of the visit the guests toured around MEDIU’s learning center to view its facilities and expressed their admiration towards the achievements done by the University.
