Visit by Former Minister Higher Education of Yemen, Prof. Saleh Ali Omar Ba Surra

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an honored guest, Prof. Saleh Ali Omar Ba Surra, Former Minister Higher Education of Yemen on Wednesday, 17 February 2016. The honoured guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with PR Coordinator, Mr. Ahmad Fallatah.  Prof. Saleh Ali Omar is currently the Center Director of Al Rasheed Center for Enlightment, Training & studies, Yemen. And so for a friendly visit; it aims to see the march of the university, and the patterns of modern technology employed to ensure the quality of education.

The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU and expressed his admiration on the level the University’s has reached in using the modern technology in support to the e-learning process. Visual presentation on the university’s and presentation on the university’s educational administrative process, Campus Management System (CMS) overview and Advanced Learning i-Management (ALiM) system were presented by Mr. Yazeed AlSayed Ali Al Moayed. This was later followed by an office tour around MEDIU’s academic and administrative offices to view the facilities closely.

At the end of the visit, a token of appreciation were given to the honored guest and expressed his privileged of visiting MEDIU by stating in the guest book, “We visited Al-Madinah International University and am pleased with the good scientific education program available and were particularly impressed with the system. Wishing all the best to the university and the staff towards more success.”
