Visit by Ex Mayor of Shah Alam Municipal Council

Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) hosted an honored guest, Dato’ Haji Abu Sujak Haji Mahmud; the first mayor of Shah Alam Municipal Council(MBSA) on Tuesday, 19 August 2014. The honoured guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi along with the  Deputy CEO of Academic Affairs Division; Assoc.Prof.Dr Hj. Wan Mat Hj Sulaiman, Deputy CEO of Students Affairs Division; Assoc. Prof. Dr.Ismail Mat and Deputy CEO of Research and Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. AB Rahim Ismail and Dean of Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Ir. Dr. Wan Mahmood Wan Ab. Majid.

The honored guest expressed his gladness of visiting MEDIU and meeting with Honorable CEO as well as expressed his admiration on MEDIU’s establishment in the capital city of Selangor, Shah Alam. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi briefed the honored guest on the level the University’s has reached in using the modern technology in support to the e-learning process. Honorable CEO states that Malaysia is also knows as kiblah of knowledge seekers for students from all over the world; thus it has attracted nearly 90 nationalities of students globally to pursue their education here in MEDIU.

At the end of the visit, a token of appreciation were given to the honored guest and were taken for a short tour to view the University’s facilities. He later expressed his privileged of visiting MEDIU by stating in the guest book “ I am honored to visit MEDIU and pray the University success. May the University produce knowledgeable graduates to serve Islam. To the esteemed staff and lecturers, I congratulate all of you for your imparting knowledge to all the students from different nationalities from all over the world. Congratulations!”
