Visit by Deputy Dean of Open Learning University,Yemeni

Al-Madinah International University(MEDIU) received an honored guest, Honorable Dr.Ahmed, Deputy Dean of Open Learning University, Yemeni on Friday, 26 February 2016. The honored guest was welcomed by MEDIU’s Deputy CEO, of Research and Development Division, Assoc. Prof.Dr. AB Rahim Ismail along with Mr. Abdilahi Liban, Head of Admin Development and Training Department. Assoc. Prof.Dr.AB Rahim Ismail expressed his delight for the visit which comes within the framework of cooperation between the university and international education institution.

The visit aims to discuss ways of joint cooperation opportunities through the conclusion of a memorandum of understanding between the two universities in praise of the scientific and academic fields, especially in the field of online education.

Open Learning University (http://www.yuniv.net/) is a licensed and registered university located in Sana’a, Yemen. The university provides education and training, rehabilitation and consultancy services in the field of higher education. The university was founded through the establishment of separate colleges namely Faculty of Sharia and Legal Sciences in 1993, which is the first private university college in Yemen.
