Al-Madinah International University (MEDIU) Deanship of Student Affairs and Counselling in collaboration with the Student Activities Department recently organized an exploring day trip to Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, 12 April 2014. The fieldtrip was aimed to explore the students on the famous and prominent tourist places in the heart of Kuala Lumpur such as the Islamic Art Museum, National Museum, National Monument, Central Market, Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and Cocoa Boutique(Malaysian’s Largest Chocolate Paradise).
Mr. Arif ‘Alauddin Zakaria from the Counselling and Student Activities Department highlighted the students on Malaysia history and its culture. The students were so delighted on such activity and satisfied with places they visited during the fieldtrip’s program as they gain more understanding on Malaysian culture as well as gaining new experience in exploring the Malaysian taste in terms of the food such as the Sizzling Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice and many more.
At the end of the trip, the students expressed their gladness and appreciate on the acknowledgement by MEDIU’s Honorable CEO; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Khalifa Al-Tamimi and Dean of Student Affair; Assoc. Prof Dr. Moussa Oumar Keita to provide various activities for the students to improve their social skills as well as understanding other religion and culture.
